Middle School
Hyde Leadership Charter School – Brooklyn offers middle school students a space of growth, challenge, and opportunity.
Though still young, our middle school has welcomed students from diverse backgrounds, talents, and interests, and quickly built a reputation as a safe, supportive, and inspiring community.
Hyde faculty go beyond academics to support students’ social and emotional needs, helping them learn to lead themselves with courage and concern. Alumni often return to share that Hyde middle school experience prepared them for high school, giving them the confidence to excel in both academics and extracurricular pursuits. For families seeking a nurturing and structured environment during this critical developmental stage, Hyde Middle School is a beacon of hope.
At Hyde, students take ownership of their learning by monitoring progress and engaging in the action-reflection cycle, building responsibility and accountability. They also have a voice in shaping the school community—serving on student council, leading roles in weekly school meetings, and providing feedback to teachers about their courses.
